Hey, I'm not an FJ owner - YET! I'm in the search, but it's really tough to find a low option, 4x4, silver, automatic in the city. I've contacted several dealers (Northside, Midtown, and Schaumburg), and they all told me I would have to order (take about 2 months on delivery). Does anyone know of any fantastic dealers in the Chicago area (preferrably northside)? Also, I haven't seen that many FJ's cruisin' the blvd's in the city...only in the suburbs. Post your pics of your FJ in the city!!!!!
bredemann at park ridge, ask for ric santos. tell him gerard sent you. in a days work he located one for me-out of state. brought it in the next day, i came in and drove home within one hour.

How much did you pay for that video unit? Where did you have it installed?
I have certain things done at different times. I went to Music in Motion on 14017 W.Cicero in Crestwood,Il . The flip down 10" LCD monitor was about $300 and the KVH satillite for Directv was $2300. But first I had the headunit changed with a Pioneer 5700DVD,Pioneer Ipod adapter, Pac steering wheel controls, removed stock subwoof/amp and replaced with an Alpine 600w amp and two 12" Alpine subwoofers, 200w Memphis amp, Focal 6x9 speackers in the front doors, 3.5 JL speakers in the dash, Infinity 5.25" speakers behind the suicide doors and kept the stock speakers in the rear of the truck. I purchased the speakers, rear viewing camera(Pioneer) and amps through wholesale. Another place you can use is Tweeters, they have stores in the northern suburbs too! Joyce Toyota in Dekalb had a low option silver FJ a week ago. They are willing to trade other dealerships for vehicles too....don't let them tell you they can't get them. I've also seen 2 or 3 sitting at dealerships in Wisconsin. If they wanna sell a vehicle, they'll find one for you.
