2007 chicago auto show

today's opening day of the show, just got home.toyota had quite a few tundra's on display,i really like the reg cab short bed.they also had the sema sut fjc on display and only 1 fjc to sit in(loaded 4x4 voodoo blue).they didn't have any special display for fjc fans except the road to baja video playing on a big plasma, the tundra is the main attraction this year.oh i also won a t shirt from toyota and dad won a $25 gas card from shell.

Re: 2007 chicago auto show

I was thinking about going this weekend, today I had my FJ serviced for the 15,000 miles check. I can't really see why Toyota charges $193. for it. All I can really understand is the oil change and moving the tires around!

Yeah, I kind of like the SUT. It's differant than anything else, but I wonder if the bed is big enough to even fit a cooler of beer.

Re: 2007 chicago auto show

jerry can + six bottles of Red Hook in back of SUT = too many items.

weekends are nuts if you don't get there as soon as they open, try to go diring the week if at all possible.i use to go on weekends with my dad but he just retired last dec and he's got lots of free time, and i work nights so we took a ride.we got there at 1:30 and it wasn't crowded at all.jeep/dodge/chrysler take people on test drives and the lines were very short.they have one water crossing, rocks to drive over and a climb built in their display to demonstate their jeeps ability.
