So long as you're "cleaning up" in the check department, it's all good!

Sounds like you have the makings of a wrenching party! I can volunteer to help you next weekend. I have the manual, the tools and a willingness to get dirty.

The current game plan would be for the Illinois group to meet at Gurnee Mills on that Friday afternoon and caravan north. Given that it'll be a 4.5 hour trip from GM, we'll meet in the Bass Pro parking lot and leave by 2:30 pm for those interested. If this is too early then let us know so we can possibly accommodate you. We'll arrange to meet up with the Wisconsin folks on our way up. If any of the WI. folks have any suggestions for a meeting place let us know!
I could meet up with ya'll someplace north of Milwaukee about 4:30 or so. I think the easiest is for to call one of you on your cell and find out where you are at. I can either try and catch up or wait for you somewhere. I have a CB so if anyone else does, we should pick a channel. It will be too hard to pick a meeting time with the traffic.

We could also wait and see what the other WI folk want to do.

Chris

Only if we can make up funny little handles for each other. I have always been kind of fond of "Wet Woodchuck".

I might be able to make it. It's only an hour or so from home (Minocqua, WI). My lift should be installed but I may still be waiting on the rims (ATX Thugs). I will let you know when we get closer.

Minocqua, very nice. I used to live in Eagle River when I was kid. I would love to move back there.

Small world....my family used to have 10 acres and a cabin in Boulder Junction for 15 years. Used to hang out in Minocqua all the time when I was old enough to get in trouble. My buddies and I was arrested there by the bowling alley once and taken to the cop shop across from Dairy Queen there. They got us for driving like lunatics....and my buddy had some questionable recreational burning materials. Loved the ski shows at Bosackis, the brewery, and running wave runners up to Lake Tomahawk. Good times.....good times.....
