Re: McCaslin Mountain, WI run. Sept 28-30

I was going to wait but I might as well finish up my sliders and put them on. I hate mud. I really really do. Anyone know if Budbuilt can overnite me a set of skids? I just really hate that flippin' mud!

I have updated the meeting place for the folks that are meeting at Gurnee Mills. We will now meet at Steak and Shake since it's easier for everyone to join up there. Just look for my Ti FJ in the lot with a pop-up trailer attached.

I will post later with info on the southern/mid Wisconsin meeting place.

I am going to be leaving Saturday Morning from Boulder Junction WI Area to make the morning meet, last time we got moving around 9am after hanging out for a bit. Then Camping on Saturday night with all of ya guys! So I will not be joining you on the drive up.

Side note.. My Winch took a crap this weekend, and I am sending it back for a new one so I won't have a winch to bring and help with. I was not willing to pay 2ond day air shipping on a 100lb winch! I'm so in love with Joy Nikols

No problem Chitown! I figured we won't get moving out of camp until 9:30-10:00 for our run. I PM'd you my number so you can give me a call when you're close to arriving.

Sorry to hear about the winch! I couldn't scare up the Hi-Lift but actually scammed a tank of CO2 with regulator and air hose from a friend. I'm on the hunt for a Hi-Lift if you know where one is available!

Farm and Fleet in Montgomery sells them off the shelf! I have to go and return something there tomorrow if you want me to grab you one.. otherwise a couple of the guys will have them.

I also have a HiLift Mount for under 30$ that I made up if you want me to make you guys some! Check it out on Saturday. Very simple!

Just as I was planning a "quick" trip to Montgomery you posted up! I will say you definitely rock Joe! You score me a Hi-Lift and one of your mount do-hickey's and I'll sport you the cash and some bbq chicken!

Re: McCaslin Mountain, WI run. Sept 28-30

I added the Wisconsin meet area! Check the first post!

Looks like we are set up folks! In the meantime, I need to do some welding and grinding to get my sliders up to snuff!

See you all Friday!

Re: McCaslin Mountain, WI run. Sept 28-30

I will be doing the same as Chitown, leaving from Minocqua on Saturday Morning, but I can't camp the night. I have to meet a client on Sunday morning to go over a job, so I will be heading back to Minocqua on Saturday night.

It rained over an inch last night, looks like rain in the forcast for the end of the week. Bring your boots!
