Re: FJ cruiser trail team @ The Cliffs, IL. October 20

Re: FJ cruiser trail team @ The Cliffs, IL. October 20
I really want to make it to this... I may have to leave home at 5:00am, but I'm in. Now I just need to get the new shoes on before then! Is the Toyota trail team going to be at this or am I reading the initial post wrong? I have never really done any offroading other than taking my truck through a few farmlands/new construction areas. I am looking forward to getting some practice, so I am not a complete noob with using my truck for its intended purpose!

I know there will be an infestation of FJ's from Wisconsin coming down. You might want to hook up with them and caravan down. Keep your eyes peeled for your fellow Packer backers and set something up with them.
You won't be the only noob in the bunch! Hook up with the trail team folks and watch what they are doing! They'll more than likely help you out and guide you on the trails! They're a great bunch of people!
I will add though that new tires (more aggressive than stock) are highly recommended! You'll have a fantastic experience if you do!

If people want to come down from WI or IA on Friday, my place is free to sleep at! No wife or pets to tell me I can't have FJ Friends over! :-)
I am 1 hr from the cliffs, directly north
