...Anybody know if Digger or Char are gonna be down for the 20th?
When I talked to them last they stated there was a "good possibility" they would make it. Digger's last competition is the weekend after the Cliff's and they have one this coming weekend.
What are you going to run at the Cliff's? Your 55 looks like a beast in that mud!

I'm taking the 55. The wife is talking about bringing the FJC again. I thought she might like it a bit more without the stock DunFlops.

I really want to make it to this... I may have to leave home at 5:00am, but I'm in. Now I just need to get the new shoes on before then! Is the Toyota trail team going to be at this or am I reading the initial post wrong? I have never really done any offroading other than taking my truck through a few farmlands/new construction areas. I am looking forward to getting some practice, so I am not a complete noob with using my truck for its intended purpose!
If you are comming down I-94, send me a PM. I'll be comming from Lake County.....

I went with the stock Dunlops on the first outing at the Cliff's in March and they were a bit weak in the mud. I switched to the Revos after that and they do quite well in the muck and slop. Since I saw CRed's Destination M/T's I am seriously thinking about those just for playing off-road. More mods = more cash! I need a second job!
Glad to see you're taking the 55. Seeing the pics of it probably doesn't do it justice!

I was just wondering if this outing is just on the 20th or is it the 20th and the 21st? I thought I read on the Trail Team website that it said 20th -21st.
In the schedule portion of the FJ BulletinTrail team website states: Over the weekend of October 20 - 21st, the Central Trail Team is headed to Marseilles, IL to take on the 'insane terrain' of The Cliffs Off Road Park. If you're in the area, come join the Trail Team for a weekend of fun.
So is it a two day thing? Or am I reading to much into it?
Re: FJ cruiser trail team @ The Cliffs, IL. October 20
I talked Tom (trail master) and he will be at the event leading the harder group (intermediate) around trails LIKE #10. So start thinking about what you would like to run. Either the easier group or the slightly more advanced group. I beleive a stock fjcruiser and an experienced driver can do #10 NO PROBLEM.
