I'd have to say it's a real shop! Naperville Central Career and Technical Education

He is obviously teaching Future Cruiser Heads. The picture speaks a thousand words!

He's one of the few shop teachers I've seen that still has all of his fingers!

Just looking at the front page the shop seems to be sliding away???

The kid on the far left and the land cruiser seem on the same level but the rest is falling off the the right. I'd get there quick before its all gone.

Re: 4x4 shops in Chicagoland area

Hey guys, new to the boards but I managed a transmission shop for about 5 years called TRAMCAR, and have pretty much open access to the lifts on saturdays when the shop is closed. (As long as one of the lifts is unocupied). I plan on doing all my FJ work there. So if anyone needs a saturday morning with their fj and a lift, just hit me up. The shop is located on Milwaukee and Bryn Mawr in Chicago.

Re: 4x4 shops in Chicagoland area

Thanks for the gracious offer Punch! It's pretty slim pickings for us around here so any offer of a covered and heated garage to do some work is greatly appreciated! We'll all be heading down to The Cliff's Insane Terrain in the next couple of weeks, please feel free to join us! Tom is a great host and has an awesome set of tools!
