Iowa fj club???

Anyone in Iowa have an FJ ? Any clubs? And anywhere to play, they just shut down the ohv to trucks in Ely . Only bikes and quads now. I need a place to play. Any suggestions of legal places to play.

I don't know, but Roosterdoo is working on a Trail Teams event in SW Iowa for the weekend of 30 Jun / 1 Jul, so there must be a place he has in mind. There is nothing solid on the SW Iowa yet, but I am hopeful. Ocassionally look at the Toyota.com website for upcoming events.

I am a ways away from the rest of you, in Urbandale,IA. I was at an off road park(old strip mine area) in south central Iowa last year. It is on Highway 5close to Hamilton. I would be interested in a club if anyone else is.

I am organizing a Toyota event at this same location in September. See my signature for a link to the event. For some reason I have to have 4 posts before I can post url's. Werpogo, I believe I met you when you went down there. I was with the current TLCA treasurer Casey Campbell.

The FJ Cruiser Trail Team will be at this event. All Toyota's are welcome.

Re: Iowa fj club???

So is anyone up for a state wide club?? I would like to get a list of every owner in Iowa and send out some kind of mailer or something. I know that there is a lot of FJ's floating around( which kinda makes me mad, seems like it is becomeing a hummer, people that will never actually use the Fj are buying them)

Lets get something going for a club ')

I would like to see a Toyota Land Cruiser Association(TLCA) chapter in Iowa. Not sure how many of you guys members are into taking your FJ Cruiser offroad. Are there any other TLCA members here?? Check out this link for more information about TLCA.

Re: Iowa fj club???

Hey all! I just joined this forum. I am currently in contact with TLCA in regards to starting an Iowa Chapter of the TLCA. I will be at the event in September with my 07 FJ. I am a TLCA member currenlty. The National Treasurer for TLCA lives in Des Moines, so we should have a good resource in regards to running a chapter.
