I'm in. Did someone say a GTG for some mass mods? I am definately all over that. But tomorrow for the beer, I'll show up for that as well. I'll wear a hoosiers football jersey or something. Since I am probably one of the only hoosier football fans in northern indiana (this place is infested with domers!), I'll stick out pretty good. 7? Sounds good to me.

I called a buddy of mine yesterday -- he's the only other FJC owner I know -- and told him about the GTG. He lives over there somewhere, so he may show up. May not.
He didn't even know this forum existed till I told him about it. He's a big car modder, so I figgered this site was right up his alley. When he first saw my FJ and the E-1 bumper, he said, "Cool ... did you get that locally?" I had to laugh ...

Please don't forget to PM me or whatever on the next one .. just could not do it tonight. Also, if we catch up with Dave, we need to pressure him into a Saturday GTG at his place.. I really think Dave would be up for this, he's a good guy and he has a heated 3-car garage!
If we want to do mirrors, we will need to make sure everybody gets their parts ordered, etc. I don't have any Kits for those but I could supply all the correct part numbers to order.
Now that I think of it .. this could be a really fun thing to do to kind of pass the winter months .. Maybe do mirrors in Jan/Feb and ?? in Feb/March. Just have little mini installfests?

Just got back from the 1st Michiana FJ GTG! We had a really good time despite the loud Irish music and girl smoking nonstop that decided to sit next to us at a big table
Swiss -- we talked about your idea of doing the heated mirror mod and I'm pretty sure that all of us are totally in on the idea!
We can start another thread on this section to discuss our next GTG and how we can plan it. Dr. Don had a nice idea about a gathering place but I'll let him bring it up.
The following showed up:
N8RV - BKA Dr. Don & his lovely wife Melinda (see picture of Sunfusion below)
WGPOWNER - Dennis and his very nice VB FJ (hope the wife wasn't too mad for us staying out late)
PTRMKL - Patrick and his lovely iphone toy that he and Dr. Don played with all night (talk about seperated at birth guys ;-)
It's rather funny the preconsived ideas of who drives FJ's. I thought I wasn't the norm until I met these fellas. I was thinking that more of the gear head crowd owned these but I guess I was wrong as the following professions were represtended tonight:
- Dentist
- High School History/Psych teacher
- Physical Therapist (yours truly)
- Project Manager
I think we were all oddly surprised! Here are some nice pictures of the evening. It was cold and dark = few bad pics!
