TOGAs Decal Ideas

Hi everyone,
Well, now that TOGA is up and running , thanks to Phil and everyone who helped out, we need to create our own decal. So put on your thinking caps and post up, and hopefully we'll get somewhere.

My Ideas
TOGA==> Toyota (Not FJ), Midwest, and maybe the resemblance to the greeks.

** EDIT** I added the poll to give us an idea of what we are looking for.
Abdul,

Re: TOGAs Decal Ideas

This is just a cheesy paint brush throw together. Font could use some work, but overall I thought it came out OK.
Not to complex, simple enough for a sticker.

Re: TOGAs Decal Ideas

i think it should be more stylized but along those lines. I will try to make something up in illustrator later.

I totally agree with you. Remember I did this in about 5min with MS paint. It's just a mock up. I was not going to waste my time on something super detailed and then have it rejected. I figured, if liked enough someone else or myself could make a cooler version.

Re: TOGAs Decal Ideas

Of the 2 ideas put up so far, I like the first one better. I agree that the lettering would need some tweaking, but overall simple and themed. The second one is a nice idea with the columnade in there, but the greek letters are not going to work. Especially because you technically have an L in the place of an A. Being a "Frat Boy" myself I can tell you that an A in greek is A. Sorry if I bursted any bubbles.

Re: TOGAs Decal Ideas

Hey guys. I live in the Palos Hills, SW subs of Chicago. I have seen some FJ's around here. More in the last few months.

I was thinking of doing some more wheeling this year. I have two friends that have YJ's. I plan on doing an OME lift and shove on some BFG's AT's on. I just ordered a JBA cat back and the AFE CAI will be ordered next week.

I'm not a TOGA member so here is just a thought for your sticker:
Based of the (not FJ) comment in the first post I was thinking that maybe show a 4x4 climbing over the O and G heading to the 2 o'clock position. Maybe crushing the letters a little. Maybe make the T and the A look like columnades?

I suck at drawing otherwise I would put up some type of picture.

I definitely like the olive branch theme, maybe with them layered beneath the text? I don't know, I have the artistic expression capabilities of a wet butt rag.
