Wild Bill let me know if you can make it up our way Sunday. My offer of the install still stands!

Re: Help a Veteran - Need 4x4 Shop in St. Louis Metro Area

I want to thank everyone that's posted here or PMed me with offers of help or recommendations for a good local shop. I really, really appreciate it and am deeply moved by the all the interest in helping me out.

There are some great people here on FJCruiserForums.com, but all you folks are at the top of the list - the absolute best. Again, many thanks.

I'm afraid not this time, though I very much appreciate your generous offer of assistance and hope to catch up with you and your group in the not to distant future. The V.A.'s gonna do a little work under the hood first of next week and I'll be in pre-op mode Sunday. As they say, sometimes it's not the years, but the miles that catch up with you. After the tuneup, I should be right as rain within a few weeks so no worries.

Re: Help a Veteran - Need 4x4 Shop in St. Louis Metro Area

Let us know when you're up for a little wrenching! I have some time owed to me and could make the run out there without an issue! I'm sure I can get a couple of folks to tag along and assist. Sounds like I could break in my 62 with a road trip!

When you're up and around, we'll be there!
