Help a Veteran - Need 4x4 Shop in St. Louis Metro Area

I'm a disabled veteran and want to install an ARB bumper on my FJ. I'd also like to replace the factory running boards with sliders/rock rails. Due to my physical limitations, I don't think I can handle the job myself. Anyone know of a reputable 4x4 shop in the greater St. Louis metro area? I live across the river in Illinois, but a shop in either Illinois or Missouri would be great so long as it's downstate rather than up by Chicago.

Any thoughts, comments, or suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would love to help out a fellow DAV. I live in Ohio and could come up to help if you wouldn't mind helping on the gas. The sliders are pretty straight forward, the bumper maybe another thing?

too bad you're not out here in SoCal! I just installed my ARB Bumper and would have been more than happy to help install one for you!

Good Luck!

I would agree with suncruiser Axleboys. I talked to Scott today about lifting mine and seemed very knowledgable. Unless I decide to do it myself I will have them install my lift.

I only know of one place and that is Tire Bargains in my area. I haven't had any work personally done there but I know they do good work. I have been meaning to ask them about pricing for a lift.

Scott is one of the nicest guys you could meet and talk to. let me tell ya a story. i get my jeep back on a tues (diff. shop)from a "4.5 lift, i have all kinds of vibs, hard to drive, ends up i need SYE, well im going to colorado for some wheelin thurs night at midnight, i call him on weds. and he tells me to bring it the same day, and they will cram the 2 days worth of work in so i can take my jeep to colorado. well that would take me onto fri. the day after I leave, so he says he will meet me at his shop on thus night to help me get the jeep and load it up. i dont know many shops that would meet you at midnight to do this. funny thing was i ended up taking my FJ to colorado. but as soon as i got back i took the jeep in for the work. Moral of the story is Scott is s stand up guy, and im sure if you told him your story, he would reall step it up. just tell him kevin from IL with the yellow FJ and the red jeep sent ya. may help us all out in the long run
