Twin Cities, MN or Western WI Anybody out there?

I just purchased a Sun Fusion FJ Cruiser. I love it. Are there any trails or get togethers in the metro area or in the region? Anyone else from this part of the US.

West Metro. I would be interested. There's not a whole lot of public land outside of the Gilbert park and the one or two other places the DNR allows OHV. My car is pretty close to stock as far as off-roading goes, so I'm not up for rock crawling, but would be up for some mild trail rides, snow (what's left), water, or mud.

Re: Twin Cities, MN or Western WI Anybody out there?

Im in Apple Valley, MN. I spend too much detailing my truck to take it off roading though. I just drive mine for enjoyment & pleasure, everyday driver. I see alot of FJ's on the road down here in the southern metro & thought there would be more midwest members online than there seems to be. Hopefully that will change.

Re: Twin Cities, MN or Western WI Anybody out there?

I know what you mean about lack of MN on the forum. I'm kind of disappointed even in the number of FJ'ers out there who even wave. What happened to MN nice?

I'm just starting to get into detailing (never owned a vehicle before that was worth cleaning), and I have some finer points about detailing the FJ I'd love to run past you if there was ever a metro MN meet-up. It looks like we have a number of same or similar mods too. I'm over in Chanhassen.

Re: Twin Cities, MN or Western WI Anybody out there?

hey guys!! it me hetter. and its spring now. i don't know how your guys's winter was but mine involed a lot of digging my self out of snow difts i shouldn't have tried busting though. oh well i guess thats what i get for not upgrading to different tire. anyways it spring now and i'm ready to get muddy. i would like to go up to glibert and do some real wheeling. all my friends have cars so everything i do or try is or right there at my comfort level. i would be more confident if i had another truck or rig around to pull me out. i'm thinking the 6 or 7 of us should go up that and hit the trails!! Let me know whats up maybe we can all set up a date to go!!! anyways take it easy and will talk later.
