We have discussed in other threads a date for a run at the Cliffs.
I figured it would be a good idea(since no else has done it) to post it's own thread, so that we can get a potential head count and set up a meeting time.
Maybe some of you prefer Sunday the 30th over Saturday the 29th. Me, I'd rather relax Sunday and do the run on Saturday, but either day is cool.
My wife and kid will join me this time...
Please post up if you want to do a run. Would also be nice for someone who knows the park to volunteer as a guide. I have been there for the tech day, but have never run the trails there.
I dont think i will make it this time. I have been wheeling my rig for the past two weeks and she deserves a break. I messed up my alignment on the 15th in the Cliffs, and i bent up my RCX skids in the badlands. I am proud of my damage but i think i would rather drive down to CTR and see how things are going there.
PS. I know Chris doesn't WANT my help but i am there for moral support, maybe tease him a little

Oh and Sat is better for me.
No worries, we'll take it easy and make sure you can make it through. No body will twist your arm to take risks that you don't feel comfortable with.
Sorry to say we will not be attending this one either I am spending alot of my wedding money to have the straight axle but on right now were on stock suspension with some parts Chris built to have it lifted still (his own new digger spacers) lol what will he think of next!
bigger motor will be next, and of course headers! she should be totally BAD AS$!!
YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT TIME AND TAKE ALOT OF PICS!!!!
I'm out until I get my Rig back from the body shop. No parts for the 62 have come my way as of yet so I'm in a bit of limbo. Anybody got a Birf rebuild kit lying about? ...... I thought so.
My only hold up is that Toyota is doing repair work on my truck Friday night to get some things sorted out and I have my NSX Club Of America Dinner (more of a boring crowd but the cars are much faster and better looking) On saturday night.
I also know that park pretty dam good by now. Been there 7 times last fall and will have no problem being trail lead on this run if need be!
If the truck gets fixed I should have no issues making it to the cliffs for a romp around.
AL we both have winches too which will help in recovery of those that get stuck.
Abdul... It would be fun to have you out. but I understand. Phil. May a shiny Newish looking FJ be born from your misfortune, Hope it all works out.

Well I hope to see you there....tell Toyota to get their thumbs out of their Arses and get the work done in time Bring Joy along. I am sure she'll enjoy wheeling more then a dinner
Got mail today, my recovery gear showed. Shackles, HiLift, Winch Saftey, straps...etc...so I am fairly set.
