Thanks MuddyGrrl. This was our first time at any organized four wheeling and you helped to make it a very nice experience. (We were in the fully loaded Titanium plus two wiener dogs Saturday at 2 PM)
When I first got there I was a little disappointed because I had signed for the intermediate trail but since my FJ is completely stock, I was told I should move to the beginners trail. The reason was that there was ONE rock that would hit the bottom of my FJ. I needed either a lift or some armor. I am no beginner, so I knew better than to go and spoil the trip for a group of strangers.
The beginners trail with MuddyGrrl was fun and everybody in the group was very nice. I wish we had had some time to actually talk to each other. I still do not know who they are here in the Forum.
Thanks also to all the other guys from Trail Teams, they are very professional and do a great job.
We had a great time.
this was a great time!! I went out sat and sun, both on the intermediate trail (and just an FYI leadfoot Im stock too with no lift, I made it through w/o problems, I did catch a few rocks here and there but nothing that a better line couldnt have avoided.) Their concerns with not allowing stockies out there seemed to diminish sat afternoon and sun, I think a lot of it was because on fri it was really muddy and a the stockies they took out had a lot of problems, but Im not sure. all and all this was the best 4x4 trip Ive been on. I met a lot of really cool people, had a great time wheeling, got the FJ REALLY MUDDY, and even popped off a bumper wing!! the only really scary part of the weekend for me was when a couple of us were playin in the sand dunes sat afternoon and I almost put the FJ on its side... came to close to a large (big enough for 2 FJs) hole, slid in passenger side first and had to crawl halfway out the window to keep her from fallin. but doin donuts on that sand was AWESOME!!! Ill be starting a new thread w pics for everyone some time today.

This weekend was awesome for me because I saw many old friends and met a lot of new ones, too.
Sunday afternoon my 3:00 trail ride was empty so I jumped in the back seat of the TT edition FJ with Travis and Paul. We hit the first mud obstacle almost immediately. I jumped out of the back, threw the gloves on, and walked right across all that muck. They tossed the winch line, we hooked it to the tree (saver and pulley, of course) and pulled me out.
Then I turned around and winched another truck out. The last two had their own winches so I just watched from there.
After that I guess the guys thought I'd earned the driver's spot. I ended up driving the 'Difficult' trail the rest of the way! Yeah, happy MuddyGrrl!!

I just want to say we had a great time, Met some new friends and wheeled with some old ones as well.
My hat is off to charity She ran the hard trail on sunday and then made 2 hard climbs in the Quarry. She has not been much for the hard core stuff but that may all change. She was pretty pumped after the launch up the 12+ft wall in the Quarry.
MuddyGirl nice meeting you and hope to see everyone again soon !!
I'd like to say it was a pleasure to meet everyone I did. It was nice to finally meet Chris and Charity and their son. Hope to come out and see your shop in Janesville. Bill, I'll see you in Ouray and anyone else making it out. I'm glad fun was had by all, no one got hurt, and few dents were taken. Erik
