Re: Trailteam at the Badlands on 7/5 & 7/6?

Can you just buy a flag on site for $20?

Does being registered for the event give us access to the whole park?

Do they have maps of trails and their difficulty levels?

Are we gonna get TrailTeam badges?!?!?!?!?

Re: Trailteam at the Badlands on 7/5 & 7/6?

Ill probably be camping out also (or just crashin in the FJ) there is info on the Badlands website

Badlands Off Road Park - Indiana, 4x4, ATV, motorcycle riding, sand dunes, mud pits, rock crawling

I havent called yet but I plan to tomorrow. Maybe I missed this but have we talked about putting some kind of identifying info to show we are forum members and what our forum name is? just a thought it may help with interaction or for shy folks. If you are shy just find me and my rig (check the build thread to know what it looks like), wonder by and just start checkin it out, Ill take it from there and will probably already be talkin to a bunch of people (shutting me up is hard to do)

from Badlands site-
FAQ
Do you sell or rent flags? We sell the flags in our office and prices are as follows-- $10.00 for a 6 ft. Or $15.00 for a 7 ft. Both flags have a Badlands™ logo.

I dont know the answer to the rest of your questions but Im very curious to know the rest (especially about the Trail teams badge!!!!)

I would see no reason why participating in the tt event would get you in the park for free. Dont count on it.

Camping at the badlands sucks!! big time! Camping at summers is awesome.

Badges, we dont need no stinking badges. *sigh* ah the fjc sticker club...

Yes there are maps. If you havent been there I suggest you find a veteran and tool around with that group! Cant stress that one enough!

I suppose I could check them in my luggage! Ha ha! That would be fun.
There's no reason why not ! I sold a 1964 Ford Falcon to a guy from Seattle back in 2003. He flew out, brought front and rear sway bars with him, and drove my little 36,000 mile car all the way back. As long as the parts are clean and don't smell of gasoline or explosives, you'll be fine.
