I'm out on this one folks. My time due has been denied and I'm detailed to the Waste of Chicago for the 5th. I figured since I'll be stuck in town I'm working my side job on Sunday.

See you there. I will look for your FJ to introduce myself. I´ll be coming from Peoria. I haven´t read about anybody else coming from central Illinois to convoy with.

Camping at the badlands sucks!! big time! Camping at summers is awesome.
I am may risk it and camp there anyway... I am on the budget plan since Mrs. MichEE's GP lost a fight with an Envoy.

The GP parade is being handled by the Area Tact Teams. I worked it once a long time back but won't do that again. It kinda left a bad taste in my mouth.

Re: Trailteam at the Badlands on 7/5 & 7/6?

question for anyone who has been to a trail teams event before... how important is it to have a cb radio? Ive got a couple of those little short range radios but Im curious if I should pick up a cb before I head down there. also is this a decent radio or will it be useless?

I started off with a handheld, but I have upgraded to the all in one Cobra. The HH was fine for short distance, unless you attach it to a fixed antenna. Having a CB on the trail let's you keep up with all the fun talk & the important talk during the ride.

Re: Trailteam at the Badlands on 7/5 & 7/6?

I already booked the attica campland and didnt think about the ATV's being all over and the noise but Im to lazy to make the change.

Will there be supporting vendors there? If so who?

You said no BEER and I began to panic. That would be something to make me get off my a#@ and make the change in campground but if its no big deal then I will choose to ingnore that rule.

See everyone there! Attica campground did tell me I was on campground #16 so if anyone wants to hang out just stop on by and if its to crowded and we have the room on the site your welcome to stay.
