Black River Falls, WI

Howdy,

Heading up to Black River Falls area this weekend with my son to do some wheeling and camping. Any tips on the area are appreciated. I have not been there in about 10 years.

Thanks,

Dave

i go there every year, usually camp at castle mound. i can't tell where you can find 4x4 trails but they have hundreds of miles of ATV trails.

p.s. you can get denr permits at stores like walmart etc. have fun.

Re: Black River Falls, WI

Thanks,

I've got a back packing/primitive camping permit. I'm looking forward to camping - I hope the mosquitos and ticks are not too bad. As far as the wheeling goes, I don't expect more than just enjoying some of the unimproved roads in the area. I was just fishing for any info folks might have on wheeling in the area.

Take care,

Dave
