Missouri FJ Owners: Landing Zone

So far I've seen three people other than myself from Missouri.
I know there must be more. This is your chance to stand up and be counted and tell us a little about yourself and how you use your FJ.

I live in northeastern Missouri, but make frequent trips to the Mark Twain National Forest to hike. I am an Ozark Trail Association member, togeather with a friend we have adopted the Middle Fork section which is a 25 mile hiking trail. With the help of many other volunteers we maintain all 350 miles. The FJ provides me with transportation to and from these very remote areas packing in tools and supplies for maintenance work. There are many water crossings (usually deep gavel and sandy bottomed streams and with high river banks) to overcome just so we can park and hike in. If your interested in knowing more about the Ozark Trail Association or the Ozark trail you can find them here.

You can find more pictures and information about our members here as well.

This is what I like to do in my spare time.

Here are a few links I believe are worthy of keeping in the Missouri thread.

Here is a link that might be hard to find.
I think everyone needs this in they're favorites.
This is an information repository on the FJ Cruiser.

You'll need Adobe 7 Reader to view these files.

Damn shame I have to post to my own posts. I must be the only S.O.B. in Missouri.

Yes, congratulations to all of you on your new FJ's. Your gonna love it. I'm not the only Fj owner in my area. I know of at least 2 more in Quincy Ill which is very close to me.
I see that some of you have posted your locations on the Google Map in the drop down quick links here. My latatude and longitude isnt exactly dead on, but it's close enough.

Thanks! Everything went very well. I'm very happy to finally be driving my FJ Cruiser. Long story, but well worth the wait.

Black cherry is 3 weeks out but stateside. My wife picked it out!!! Having a problem letting go of my Jeep sport, but one test drive removed all doubt. What a super vehicle. Cannot wait.

Re: Missouri FJ Owners: Landing Zone

The last black cherry I located was in Wasington Missouri. It was the only one the dealer had on the lot. Funny thing about the dealers website was it listed 20 FJ's.
