Just wanted to pass on the info regarding TAC's event at Flat Nasty in Missouri the first weekend of Oct. It's an open event, so you don't have to be a member of TLCA and you don't have to have a Toyota. The park is beautiful, and that time of the year should be perfect.
There's been some server problems, and I don't think there's an online registration yet. So you'll have to go back to the good ol days of snail mail. Here's a link to the event info... Time to Get Nasty.... Flat Nasty that is. - IH8MUD™ Forums
PS, I sent out some pms, don't know if it worked or not, but I hope it hasn't added me to any ignore lists . If you have any questions feel free to ask, and I'll check back often. Thanks, and hope to see you there!

That's great! If any one wants more info, give me a shout, and here's the link to the park's website... Welcome to Flatnasty
If you don't want to camp at the park, go to the lodging section and there's a few places near the park. Last year the wife & I stayed at Barton's lodging, actually worked great (AC, heat, bathrooms, kitchen, etc) and just down the road.
It will be nice to have some more FJCs on the trail, see ya there.
What are the trails like there? I was on the Toyota Trail Teams site and it shows they are scheduled to be there Saturday and Sunday. I am in if schedule doesn't change.

Really? I didn't even know that. I'm surprised that's not being advertised.
The trails... even on the easy ones (3, 3+) your a-trac will be used and your skids tickled. The trails are tight, not full size friendly, but 80's can get through them. I've got the longest wheel base, which required some three point turns. But there will be some pin striping.
The intermediate trails (4, 4+) require at least 33" tires and one locker. Larry, the blue FJC behind me, and I made it through those with little-to-no damage
Last year, a couple brought there newly purchased FJC out there and hit the easy trails. They left with some respectable damage, but loved every minute of it.
