Re: Fj Stolen!! Help

What sort of FJC security system do you experienced folks recommend?
So I'm brand spanking new to the world of the FJ or really any sort of SUV, but I pick up my brand new Black 4WD FJC at the dealer tomorrow. Reading the thread about the stolen, stripped, and burnt(?) FJC has been a wake up call! What should I get asap and what should I plan ahead for?
I already want to give the folks at CTR a call to talk about getting them to put some side rails on right away. This FJC "thing" is clearly addictive!

Thanks for the help. John in northern Illinois

Re: Fj Stolen!! Help

Joe,

I have been MIA for a while, but i just caught up on what has transpired in the last few months. Im sorry for your auto loss, but glad you were able to get a new toy to start pouring your heart into. I am sure you will come up with something truely unique for the Silver Submarine Deuce. If you need a second set of hands or if a tech day comes up in the future, I'm in to help you out. A Yota is a Yota, even if its not an FJ. Check out Ih8mud.com too, there are plenty of local guys who run 4 runners there that might have some good insight to lift and mods and what not.

Here's to new beginnings and fresh starts
