Abdul, Phil doesn't need a roll cage! He has his hands that will protect him

Nice ride Phil...

Re: I just retired my FJC....

Thanks folks!

It's getting a cage done this weekend at 4Rnr John's. He says he always wanted to do a cage on a 40 so I figured what do I have to lose! I've seen his work on his and Gumby's rig and am pretty impressed with it! He has a tendency to get anal with his stuff so I know it'll be done right! I'll post pics of it when it get done.

Just a few more odds and ends and I'll be completely satisfied with it. I initially set out to upgrade four things with it. The GM saginaw steering, 4 wheel mini-truck disk brakes, SOA suspension, and Painless wiring harness. While I was at it I upgraded to Trail Gear High Steering with DOM wall Tie Rod and Drag link, a GM 12SI 94 amp alternator, custom gauges and panel, and a new stereo. I'll be adding a long spline front drive shaft, new exhaust, and Doetsch shocks.

I hope you guys don't mine a little cruiser porn.

All three of my cruisers.

Saginaw Steering with 4x4 Labs custom Pitman arm tapped for FJ80 TRE.

Front disk brake conversion with mini-truck knuckles and Trail Gear High Steer setup.

Rear disk brake conversion with brackets and rotors from Poser at LCR4WD.

C-n-T'd axel by Tom Wimberly at TNT4x4 at the Cliff's.

Custom dash panel with Teleflex Marine gauges. All dash knobs, switches, and cable pulls work as intended.

Revived F motor with GM alternator conversion.

The 40 stays in the garage much to my wife's chagrin! She has realized over the years that that's the only place that is truly mine. She can have the house!
I pretty much have 3 cars parked out in front most of the time. I have to pay for permit parking on my block and the city get's more than their fair share from my trucks alone!
