Sleeping Bear Dunes

Spent the weekend on the other side of the lake near the national park with the wife's TT. Found a few dirt "seasonal roads" that were not off-limits near Platte River. Not dune driving, but fun!

On the way home I stopped in Silver Lake at the ORV dunes. Didn't see any FJ's, but lots of jeeps and other home-built rigs. Hoping to make it back again to hit the dunes.

Re: Sleeping Bear Dunes

I was at Silver Lake Sand Dunes from July 6th thru the 12th. I saw a few FJ's out there, here is my rig.

Climbing the "test hill"

Nice! What kind of tires do you have? How much do you deflate?
