Heading out Monday morning for the St. Louis area. I will be working mostly in Chesterfield... Spirit of St. Louis airport. Staying in Maryland Hieghts. I'll be out there training company folks on thier new airplane.
So anything I must see while there? Good places to eat, micro breweries?
Ya, I think I'll have fun there. Can you say Budweiser tour? Plus a rental car to trash, free food, and another $150/day to be on the road. I'm actually thinking of going on the road full time for the company.
They were going to have the company plane swing by here and take me out to St. Louis. But then they figured that the pilot and I would kill eachother and the plane would crash in the Atlantic. So airline. Hmmm
The budweiser tour is neat, and you get samples at the end.
For real a real microbrew treat, look up the St Louis Brewing Co (they make Schlafly brand beer) and go to their Taproom Restaurant. They've got limited run and rare varities on tap and I hear the food is great. The Schlafly Dry Hopped APA is my all-time favorite beer. Schlafly consistently ranks at the top of Midwest microbrewers. Welcome to Schlafly Cyberspace

Thanks for the tip.. I'll have to check this place out. The menu looks great.
Your in my neck of the woods, I live and work in the area. If you see an '08 Trail Team, honk!
There are two places in Chesterfield you need to check out.
1. Chesterfield Tap Room. It's off of Long Rd, very close to the Spirit. They have every beer you can think of.
2. Brickhouse bar. New bar and grill with really nice looking ladies. A must see.
Good luck and enjoy!
