Toys For Tots at the Badlands! Dec 5 2009

Once again the annual Toys for Tots run at the Badlands in Attica Indiana is being held on December 5th. Bring a new unwrapped toy and only pay $10 measly dollars to enjoy the new and improved trails there.

Watch Scuba Steve plunge the depths! Laugh while Grim dances a jig on the hood of his new rig! Gaze in awe as Hondo wheels a wagon! Cringe as Phil barrels his rig into a tree.....again......and again....and again! It's a non-stop tour of adrenaline fueled mayhem! Well that and the opportunity to see some good folks you haven't seen or met yet!

There are a few of us spending the weekend. If you plan on coming for a couple days, your best bet is to book a room now. They fill up fast!

Hopefully Hondo and Grim will have their newly acquired FJ60's out there for their baptizmal run. It'll also be the shakedown and break in run for my FJ40. I just might be nice enough to take you for a ride. Look for a silver FJC towing a greazy white FJ40 and you'll find me and the rest of the IH8mud misfits.

Thanks for the reminder Phil. I plan on going down for saturday only to test run the 60 on the easy trails and get a free tech inspection.

Maybe Sunday, I've been out there twice this month and I don't want to burn out my copilot. She's been learning how to use the winch and loves it so it might not be hard to talk her into it.

My second kid was just recently born, so right now I am at home helping my wife out where I can and keeping our 3yr old occupied. When the new born is older, I'll be wheeling again, but I usually wheel with small groups 2-4 Rigs, anything higher is just a traffic jam waiting to happen.

I'm all about the trees! I fear no wood. This FJ40 will show them they are just mere obstacles. Besides, the insurance is paid up and I have nothing to lose.
