You obviously misunderstood what this product is. It is a rear-end PERFORMANCE frame bar.

PERFORMANCE.

It provides performance. That is the best mod you can buy. You probably get 14 gr/lt^2 of performance.
Yes youll be the FJ Drift King!!! Dude I need some NOS!!!

Those wheels are crazy! Are those tires on them or simply layers of plastic dip...

Wrong. I had them ( a gift) and ended up with a bent shock mount because of them catching on a rock. Insurance/ shop estimate to fix was $2800. All is good because i ended up with a dana 60 under my rig because of it.

That would be one heck of unique hit. If you hadn't had them could have been worse. So a Dana 60 ain't bad- looks like its paid in dividends. Not sure a shock mount would be $2800 so there is more to that hit than said but glad it worked out.

You cant buy a shock mount, have to replace the housing to restore the truck to pre impact condition. Wouldnt be typing this crap if i didnt have a target bolted to to the bottom of my shock, how could it be worse?
The only reason it paid off is because i made it pay off with a lot of work. Id much rather still have my 8.2 and get my time and energy back....especially now that i have a wrecked 2013 to deal with.

Dumbest mod ever? Hmmmmmmmmm.... Might just be a mod I am toying around with right now. I have a K&N CAI with the exposed cone filter. I am working on a custom air box to enclose the filter so it gets air from outside the engine compartment (also to protect the filter more when off-road). I think I'm wasting my time but I'm bored so I'm willing to try.

Hey it could be worse and have it on the side of my rig... I like it

Stickers are now worth more to replace than the paint would be to redue...

Then its not a bad mod- just one with some tinkering to do. The exposed cone filter debate has been fought over a long time. One guy on a Bimmer forum showed documented dyno runs with a leading manufacturer cold air intake, a simple cone (inside the engine bay) and the stock set up. In the end the simple cone beat out the more elaborate cold air intake.

The only thing I like about the sealed idea is that it keeps the filter cleaner- for longer periods. In Houston- the amount of dust on the roads from construction has me cleaning/ oiling my TRD drop in constantly

Baz, you could get so much "performance" out of this. Don't be too hasty!
