Anyone every used Ultra Ever Dry??

Just ran across this stuff online and wondered if anyone on here had ever used it. Watch the video on the site. This stuff looks amazing if it really works like it shows. I could see lots of uses for this!

Re: Anyone every used Ultra Every Dry??

I just saw this last night after reading a tech article. I'm now SUPER curious as to how this would work. It wouldn't work on the windshield, but, what about everything else?!

It would be so awesome to have a mud/water/salt repellent!

Re: Anyone every used Ultra Every Dry??

Sounds like you can... but it is translucent white... so it would look a little odd

Also word has it it can be removed with all purpose cleaners and heavy scrubbing, so it isnt as durable as a paint would be.

Re: Anyone every used Ultra Every Dry??

I read $53 a quart for the base, and $85 a quart for the application layer. Something along those lines. Not cheap at all. However, it could be really handy for a lot of places on the FJ.

Re: Anyone every used Ultra Every Dry??

Here's the article I read. In the comments it talks about prices. Not sure how accurate, but I can see it being expensive.

Re: Anyone every used Ultra Every Dry??

Awww I think i found out why this isn't more popular. Supposedly not friendly with soaps and detergents and touching it will "reduce performance". It sounds rather delicate.

Check it out starting at 2:26

Re: Anyone every used Ultra Every Dry??

I figured there had to be some catch to this stuff. Still may have to try it out just to see how fragile it is.
