tell me what you guys think about this.... new rims will be 17x9 black steel rock crawlers with a 5.5 backspace, tires will be 33x12.50-17's procomp's. with the backspace the tires will stick out wich give me a wider stance ,and make the fjc more stable. I plan on the body mount chop and a three inch lift. will this work.thanks in advance
Yeah. 5.5 inch backspace will narrow your stance by two inches. You want to do what I did and get a wheel with 3.5 inches of backspace. Then you'll be wider. I've been running 17 inch Poison Spyder Spyderlocks. They are awesome. I can't recommend them highly enough. Oh, if you want them to keep that polished finish, and you live anywhere with corrosive road salts, get them clearcoated. I'll throw some pics up once I get outside and take a few.

What's up with the Poison Spyder Spyderlocks not coming in 16"?

I'm not sure. I know they are mostly Jeep guys. Are 16 in. wheels uncommon to Jeeps?
