How to always maintain power to 12V Outlet ?

Neophyte question. This is a minor annoyance, but how can I keep the power "live" on the 12V power outlet when I kill the ignition? Is there some simple change at fuse box?

The easiest way would be to add another 12v outlet, and tap it into an always live spot on the fuse panel in the driver's side dash. See here: How to add another 12V Power Outlet

Re: How to always maintain power to 12V Outlet ?

It looks like like you would have to do is change the source of the power for the 12 Volt ACC plug relay from the ACC circuit which is on only when the IGN is in ACC or ON to a constant on feed from the battery. See the attached diagram:

Re: How to always maintain power to 12V Outlet ?

Don't give me any credit. It is from the Toy electrical Manual.

Re: How to always maintain power to 12V Outlet ?

Thanks for the great diagram.

I guess now I have to decide whether I want to run a new outlet or muck around trying to change the power supply of the existing one.
