Any issues with loud stock exhaust?

I ordered my FJ and got it in June. All the ones i test drove were almost no exhaust noise in the cabin. Mine is almost as loud as the TRD system. Anyone else having issues like mine?

Re: Any issues with loud stock exhaust?

the stock exhaust does have a little tone to it. mine seemed a little loud, but I got used to it... wonder just how loud the TRD one is. is this while climbing?

Re: Any issues with loud stock exhaust?

I actually notice the ones I test drove seemed quieter than the one I got. I test drove them last in early June and bought one before it arrived in port that I got on Aug 1. Maybe they changed something but I doubt it?

I like the way mine burbles. All the vehicles I test drove sounded the same.

Mine's got a bit more rumbley with time. That's a good thing, as

If you want quiet, get a prius. The FJ should be mean!

And get an extension cord so you can recharge your batteries from the FJ's power outlet .

Nice deep throbbing sound here. I don't know how loud it is outside of the cabin though...I haven't let anyone else drive it.
