6" lift and sliders

What are you guys doing after a 6" lift for side steps/sliders? I want to keep my sliders after the pro comp install, but I know a lot of buddies that already have trouble getting in at stock height, not too mention the one that will complain the most...the lady. So, I will have to ditch the stock sliders.

Maybe sort of a newb question, but are there sliders/steps that could possibly function as both?

Re: 6" lift and sliders

Rock Sliders versus "Running Boards" that have steps, so when the truck is lifted people can get into it easier.

I dont imagine I can have my rock sliders and side steps on the vehicle at the same time...so I was curious if any rock sliders come out far enough where they could be used to step into the truck when it is lifted.

Re: 6" lift and sliders

Check out the ones from AllPro. They stick out far enough to step on. Do not put on any sort of "Running Boards" if you actually wheel your rig. You'll lose them pretty quick.

Re: 6" lift and sliders

Thanks TennesseeS,
I would like to keep the fuction of sliders, so I dont think the power out type steps would work out too well. It crossed my mind, and I appreciate the info.
