i have the smaller version of that rack right now, works great, i have had it for years. thinking about going up to that size or maybe getting a box, haven't decided yet though.....check out The Rack Warehouse Homepage free shipping over $50 and they usually have the best prices on thule stuff

yakima fat cats for me, but whatever gets your planks/boards to the slopes is the most important thing even if it means stashing them in your rig.

is it winter yet?

now?...how 'bout now?

Re: Need Ski Rack - Get A Thule? - Or Is There Something Better??

I went for the Thule 6 pr (725). I've been a Thule customer for over 20 years and have never had a problem with them. I also purchased the rack from Rack Attack and found the sales guys to be knowledgeable and friendly. You basically can't go wrong with Thule products but have found Yakima customers to feel the same way about their products as well.

Like all things in life, you get what you pay for. When cared for properly, Thule products will last for many years to come.

I got the Yakima's. Can't go wrong with either Thule of Yakima.

I've got the Thule that slides out over the edge of the vehicle, saves a little bit of climbing.

Also, I don't know about anyone else, but getting them spaced out correctly was a bit of a pain. I had to chop and reattach one of crossbar ends to make it fit properly.
