Removal of Contact Cement on Dash

I have some contact cement residue left on the plastic of my dash. Other than rubbing it off with your finger does anyone know how to remove it?

Thanks.

Re: Removal of Contact Cement on Dash

I'd go with the finger, any solvent that will remove contact cement would likely eat the dashboard....

Try a good Artgum Eraser, you can get them at any office supply store.

Re: Removal of Contact Cement on Dash

maybe use goof-off, but test it on a small inconspicuos area first to see how the dash reacts.

Yeah go with goo-gone, and test it first on the dash in a non-visible place.
