Re: Where do you mount your hi-lift?

I had mine on my roof for quite awhile with the Fourtrek mounts.

Now it is on the ARB with the Fourtrek mounts.

I now have the Hi-Lift X-treme jack, not shown in the pictures.

Re: Where do you mount your hi-lift?

I mounted mine on the back of the rack so that you can stand in the back of the fj and be able to get it down pretty easily. I run the DO clamps and a spare tire lock that I found at 4 wheel parts that fits through he jack just right and it isn't to long and you don't have extra feet of cable you have to wrap up.

Re: Where do you mount your hi-lift?

FourTreks mount on ARB front bumper. Easy to take on and off, lower center of gravity, no worry about rust stains on white roof. Lock it like you would anything else-secure unless somebody wants it badly enough to risk life and limb.

Re: Where do you mount your hi-lift?

We don't have a roof rack, so we mounted ours in the FJ, below back seat. Search: sky dirt sky dirt thread.

Re: Where do you mount your hi-lift?

Mine's on the passenger side roof rack, (arb) using fourtreks mounts. The axe and shovel are on the driver's side.

Re: Where do you mount your hi-lift?

Easiest & best of all:

Buy the vinyl sleeve and keep it in your cargo area
