Question Rear Window Does Not Open with Key...WTF!

Before I take the back door panel off I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. When I turn the key counterclockwise in the back door my window fails to pop open. I can hear some lock action at the key area but that's about it. The last thing I want to do is take it back under warranty so I'm hoping maybe this has happened to somebody else who can give me a heads up. Thanks, Roma

Re: Rear Window Does Not Open with Key...WTF!

To open the rear window you must turn the key clockwiseand hold it for a couple seconds for the window to pop.

Counterclockwise unlocks the doors, clockwise locks them and if held releases the rear window.

It should open when you turn the key. I just went outside and tried mine and it did open. Not sure whats going on there with yours?

Clockwise half way and hold, if I remember right. I'll be right back.

Sorry I didn't give more specific details, but yes, turn clockwise and hold at least a second and the window pops open.

Not at all. It took me awhile to figure out you don't have to slam the rear window to get closed. All you have to do is apply pressure while closing and it shuts that way.

It's one of the things that makes this Forum what it is. I have learned a ton and hopefully have helped out others along the way.
