Re: Diff gear ratio !?!

The manual has 3.93
The auto has 3.91
Right now you can buy 4.10, 4.56 and 4.88 but their not cheap

The RAR for the 5AT is 3.73:1, The 6MT is 3.91:1

Re: Diff gear ratio !?!

Is the 2WD and 4WD rear gear set the same ratio?

IMHO, going from3.91 to 4.10 is gonna be a very short step. Ideally, wouldn't you want to step up to the 4.56 at minimum to get a noticeable difference?

Yes it is. (The 2WD is only available with the 5AT).

To get more rpm at the same mph you would increase the ratio to something like a 4.56:1 (from 3.73:1).
