Clicking Sound

When we were driving to the Summit I noticed a clicking sound coming from the FJ, The sound gets louder the faster we go and is very noticeable at 65 and above, just put BFG KO's on before the trip, is it the tires or a CV joint or something else?

Re: Clicking Sound

Could have junk in your breaks, or in the front skid plate.
I had about 5 nice sized rocks in my skid for about two weeks. Drove me nuts, so I had to remove it and get them out...
Yours sounds more like a rock in the tire, but it could be the brakes need to be cleaned out.

Re: Clicking Sound

do you have skids? If so, stand on the rear and make her move up and down. My gas tank skid slid back on a trail run and rubbed.
