Wiper Blade Springs..

One of the main reasons I purchased my FJ, was because it had more windshield wipers than the other 4x4 vehicles.
I soon found that "More" doesnt mean better!
When it rains or snows I cant get my windshield clear enough.
Its not the blades that are at fault...
I have changed the stock blades to High Preformance blades.
I think its the spring tension on the wiper arms.
Does anyone know of an aftermarket supplier that makes heavy duty wiper arm springs?

Thanx!

Re: Wiper Blade Springs..

You say it is not the blades....but have you tried this...

I hear the springs inside of these are rather strong....

....do you have one you can break open and take the spring out??.....how about the kid down the street...does he have one?

....another thing....how often do you actually use your rear windshield wiper?.....maybe remove that spring and bastardize it together with the front ones to make them super strong.

Wow! That's, like, so wierd: I bought mine because it had so many wipers too. Or not.
