Okay! Many have asked to help the cause, so here’s a great way to contribute!
FJSummit .org is challenging creative FJCRuiserforums.com members to submit their designs for the FjSummmit 2007 T-shirt Design Contest. Winning designs will be featured on driver’s t-shirts and sold at the FjSummit2007, Ouray Colorado July 12-15 and online before and after the event. All proceeds will be used to offset costs of the event and charitable contributions.
This is a great way to raise money for the event. Design entries need to be submitted by Mar 1, 2007.
1.) All T-shirt design entries must be submitted to tshirts@fjsummit.org via e-mail or mail, by March 1, 2007.
2.) All entries must include original art. One color designs are preferred, Printing will be one color silk screen graphics . (you may submit optional 2 and 3 color designs for consideration) . Shirt color may ultimately be light or dark ( white , black, yellow, voodoo, SEMA green, etc) , shirt and ink color may vary and will be decided by FJSummit.org.
3.) T-shirt designs may be used on any style of T-shirt . probably short sleeve T-shirts, long-sleeve T-shirts, hoodie, etc.
Designs are NOT limited to one side and may include front, back and sleeve elements. Contest judging will focus on the front side. Back side or sleeve may be dedicated to sponsors logos.
4.) Designs must be original artwork. We will not accept any designs that feature :
Existing registered trademarks and alteration of trademarks
Tobacco, firearms, alcohol and/or sexual connotations
5.) Each Contestant may submit up to three designs. But please limit it to your best one!
6.) FJSummit.org’s crack team of artists may assist with altering and updating final design for print.
To achieve good print results, Please follow the instructions below.
Digital artwork should be submitted in preferred formats if possible.
All fonts must be converted to outlines.
Color must be converted to spot colors.
Please submit files with images SIZED for printing.
Compress large files (over 1 MB) using Stuff-it or Winzip.
Flatten all files.
If possible, Send additional .JPG version of file to communicate color representation if file does not display color the way you want it printed.
Files Accepted:
ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR - Create outlines for fonts.
FREEHAND - Convert text to paths.
COREL DRAW - Convert text to paths. Save as .AI file.
ADOBE PHOTOSHOP - Should be used only for photographic images, not great for type or logos.

Please note detailed photographic images will not silkscreen well.
7.)Please include Designer's name, phone, e-mail, forum name, address.
8.) 3 or more designs will be selected by FJSummit.org and posted in a poll on FJCruiserforums.com. Members will vote for winning entry.
9.) All winning T-shirt designs selected for the event/online sales will become the property of FJSummit.org, T-shirt designs may run on the forum/online sales for more than one year, all profits will be applied towards event planning or selected charitable contributions. FJSummit.org, Inc. is a Non Profit Corporation.
FJSummit.org. reserves the right to alter winning designs for print compatability, added content , etc.
10.)Winning entrant will receive……A free tshirt! and the accolades of your forum peers!
Entrants can post their designs on the forum. But this is not a requirement for committee consideration. Selected designs will be posted for forum vote.
12.) Contest rules are subject to revision. Entrants and forum members will be notified regarding any revisions or alterations.
13.) Winner need not attend the event, but wouldn't ya like to see a couple hundred people wearing your t-shirt?

Can't we just submit it in whatever format we design it in and then you guys figure out how to make it work in the printer? I always hate how much the graphic design technology limits who can enter this sort of thing.
