It's May any updates on the Summit??

Since we are now into May, I was hoping that there would finally be some more information on the Summit or at least registration would be up. Any idea when we can expect this to happen? Thanks to those that are working hard on putting this together.

Hi guys and gals,
I know it’s been a while and believe me, we are more anxious about the summit than you are. The main stopping point right now is insurance. This has been holding up the registration and getting the other details ironed out.

Unfortunately, we need to have insurance for the event, or we can't have the event, period. It’s required by the town, BLM, and the Forest Service. We are working very diligently at this, and as soon as we get insurance nailed down, things will start to fly out the door.

Individuals, who have pre-registered will be emailed with a link to register for the event, so if you haven't pre-registered, please do so now.

We are so excited to be putting this on, and we have so many things planned, it’s unfortunate that the summit planning has gone so slowly because of insurance, but we hope to get that resolved within the a week or so. I will personally let you know whats happening as soon as I can.

I know a great many of you emailed us with questions and comments. Those have helped us a great deal in setting up this event. If you have any questions, please email us at contact@fjsummit.org, and one of us will gladly answer any and all questions.

Thanks again for your patience, and hopefully we can get this annoying insurance hurdle behind us, so we can start planning the fun stuff like food, entertainment and of course TRAILS !!!

Seth

Re: It's May any updates on the Summit??

Just what Seth said. We have been working incredibly hard on this, and everything is set to go. We're just waiting for final insurance to give everything - registration, meals, sponsors, etc that we have lined up the green light. It's all set up. If anyone owns an event insurance company, feel free to contact me Oh....by the way........we're being told not to worry about this by some people who know what they're doing and have done events like this many times (I'm not gonna drop names but they're involved w/ the Summit), so please don't worry.......
