Some will be at the Hot Springs Inn
Your going to need an awfully long rope to get yourself from the Lemonade Room at the Box Canyon back to the Hot Springs Inn.

Rope I have a good supply of. I just hope I don't get sidetracked by a Swimming pool while walking back

Sounds like you might need a second snorkel.

Re: 2008 Summit - Who Will Be Coming?

It would be nice to see an event planner for the "FJ Cruiser Summit II" as a Sticky (even with only bare information now available), so people don't have to read through lots of threads and posts to glean what has been said. Some of what has been said is rumor (or unconfirmed), so the Sticky would be a place for official information. I suggest the Sticky be managed and posted in by the Organizers only.

It is not uncommon for industry seminars to be mailed as flyers a long time ahead of the event, so people can schedule dates on their calendars and reserve rooms, air fares, juggle other conflicts, etc. Although the seminar notice is months (sometimes two or three years early), the details/schedule of events/etc of the seminar are not posted until about 3-4 months before the seminar, and even then a lot of things are TBA (to be arranged) or TBD (to be determined). This is how the Organizer may wish to plan the FJ Cruiser Summit II, so registrants can get their affairs in order.

Right now the only thing that is certain (as I understand it) is the place - Ouray, Colorado, and the approximate dates - July 16 (Wed) through July 20 (Sun). Mods can fill in blanks as decisions are made, information is firmed, and/or when they think release of schedule is timely, but I think a Sticky is appropriate now.

Jeff - no need for "sorries" - you all do a great job, and we all just want to support you and do what we can to help - including pre-registering (i.e., pre-paying, which I suspect would help!) - and we offer our thanks for the effort that goes into making the event happen.
