No lodgings left in Ouray - so booked into Ridgway
I would re-check your sources. I just booked the local B&B and I know they have at least one more room. I would be very surprised if all the rooms in Ouray are booked, there are more places than just the Best Western. Check out the "lodgings" section of the 2007 FJCruiserSummit website and check with all those listed. Remember that some of the places close in the winter since Ouray isn't the typical "ski" town and has nothing to do once the snow hits...

Hey, everybody help out my n00b butt. I've never camped at a time when there are a billion people in town. Do you guys make camping "reservations" ahead of time?

I don't think I'm gonna make it next year. Will be in Yellowstone for two weeks in June, and with previous trips before and after will not have the vacation time left. Don't need to tell you all to have fun . . . that goes w/o saying ;^ )

I know that there were several people that did camp last year and they booked ahead. Katfish, Shadow-Warrior and Terahex all camped and are all great sources of info. So I would suggest sending them a PM and they will point you in the right direction.

Can't wait to meet you both!

Looks like most places are booked up. Anything still available or close?

Just reserved the box canyon inn. They still have several rooms available still. They're right next to the Best Western (stumbling distance)
