It might be an unofficial Chili cookoff/potluck in the parking lot of the BW. What do the powers that be think about a chili cook off/potluck anyway? Once we get it "official" we can pick the night of the cookoff and start a planning thread for this potluck. I just love cooking and drinking with friends.
Frogeye, you guys should start a "Chilli Cookoff at Ouray" thread!

cheers,

dale

Noted Dale. I don't want to step on the planners shoes so I was kind of hoping that someone from the planning group would chime in with their .02 cents.

Regardless, I'll set up that thread later today and everyone who is going to Ouray and wants to cook something up, while enjoying some adult livations with friends should sign up!

Re: Get Ready!! Official 2008 Summit Info Within!!

In luck, I rented a family size condo a couple blocks from the Best Western. Best Western offered the Rivers Edge but we stayed there last year and the upper floors were so creaky from other guests above us it kept waking up the whole family. I plan to come in a day early and leave a day after the Summit. I can't wait, it was a blast last year.
How many rigs are they going to let in this year?

Re: Get Ready!! Official 2008 Summit Info Within!!

has any body thought about calling the Guinness Book of World Records, for the largest group of the same vehicle together in the same place at the same time??? I heard 300 fj's are coming, could that be a record? or maybe this is a new category? anyone know? just a thought after watching 20/20 last night! it would be cool for the FJ and for Ouray! oh and Toyota too!
