Thanks to the heads-up from Katfish, I booked a room where I know the FJ will be visiting often (close to the gas station): Ouray Riverside Inn
I opted for the hotel instead of a cabin, though. Lookin' forward to meeting all y'all. This sounds like one of my biker rallies, only with out the bikes...
Now, what was that 'bout chili? I think that Tejas needs some representation... heh heh (flame ON! whar's those chili's?). I'll need the grrlfiend around just to haul the fixin's and Shiners!

Re: Get Ready!! Official 2008 Summit Info Within!!
So when I got my reservation at the BW back in October I told them I was with the Summit but didn't get the $113 room rate, its like $145 or something....I see the updated Summit website still says we should be getting the $113 rate.

Riverside is a good place, stayed there last year, 1 night in the hotel, 2 nights in the cabin. the hotel room was nice, the cabin, well, it was doable see you there!

We are in the cabin the whole time, you think we can hang? Last year we camped for 6 nights....
Re: Get Ready!! Official 2008 Summit Info Within!!
sure, the cabins are fine, they just didnt cool down like i was expecting them too, and we all just brought sleeping bags and it worked fine.
i am going to be at the best western this time... my one regret from last year is that i had to ensure my two boys were entertained and didnt get to hang with many of you much, this year i figure i can leave them in the best western room and let them watch TV or something when i want to go down and hang with the FJers thats the plan anyway...
