Re: KOA Campround

Not going to be easy calling them. They are in Florida for the winter. Park is closed.

They take the size of your vehicle and make assignments that way. You most likely have an assigned area, just not a number. fill them up as they come. I spent a afternoon watching how they did it. It is a lot more difficult than you might think It is a full time job if they are not connected to some specific computer program.

Re: KOA Campround

Ok…I received word from the Quray KOA that my camping spot will be #27. It looks like I am almost right in the middle of the whole camp. That works for me. I can't wait!!!

I think the point of the original post was to say that when the reservation is placed, they don't give you a number for where you will be camping. All I know is "Tenting in the mountains is awesome!! Fresh air with the best view of the mountains."....

Do you not get assigned a specific spot until you get there?
No, they reserve the exact spot #. Trust me, I know, I had to move spots (as someone else has mentioned) after one day, then stay two days at the other. Their reservation computer has it all down.

Re: KOA Campround

I did mine on line on the 15th. I do not have an assigned space yet. Will try and call them. But I do have confirmation paper work.

Yup, same here. Confirmation and everything, definitely no assigned spot (at least as far as I know). Will give them a call too.

Re: KOA Campround

No matter where you go it's all good. We went into "over flow" which was just between to RVs and had as much or more room than "spots". Good layout, no matter where you are.
