Oh what a beautiful sweet looking little kitty. Maybe you should take him to a cat show instead. I hear they have great prizes for winning. Like lift kits,skid plates you know all the good stuff. lol

I really want to bring Rojo along but I'm just worried about where to keep him when I'm at the bars etc. I don't want to have to keep him locked inside the FJ. And, I'll be camping. He loves wheeling and does great on trips, I'm just mostly at a loss for what to do with him when I'm at the BW cooking Chili or getting my drink on at a bar. I guess I could leave him in the FJ (I'll need to install a horn kill switch, he learned how to honk the horn to get out). Oh brother. Anyone else share my concerns with their dog?
That is to funny I have to see the horn trick. As far as the dog sitting goes I have the same concerns. I hear they have these sweet little kittys up there called Puma's that will watch your dog free of charge but I don't trust my dog with just anyone. i'll have to think about that.

I'm still debating over bringing Sambo along. It's a long trip from Florida. She likes a ride as much as the next pooch, but this would be one heck of a ride! She'll LOVE the camping and wheeling parts, though. I've never had a problem just opening the back window and letting her stay in the FJ while I'm doing something outside the vehicle for a while, as long as the weather is decent. NOBODY goes near the FJ whit her on watch.

My friend Kona (my avatar) died 3 days after I got my FJ. To see all the happy dogs riding in their FJs really put a smile on my face.
Sorry about Kona Is she/he a Doberman? I grew up with the best Doberman, Brandy... broke my heart when she died (she was poisoned by a$$hole neighbor w/ rat poison)... even after all these years, I still get choked up when I see a Dobie... told my husband that our next dog will be one

We take our girl on ALL of our rides, but since Colorado has legislation against pit bulls, we cannot attend Ouray.
I hope we can hold a national summit in Moab sometime. Abbey and I'd love to meet everyone.

I'm pretty sure it's only Denver and some other select cities that have this legislation, not the entire state of CO. I know Aurora just re-evalutated it Friday, didn't hear anything about it though.
