The Summit Masters

I know this has been done before. After the first Summit and maybe another couple of times....

BUT, SERIOUSLY, the Summit VOLUNTEER Masters ROCK! You guys bust your butts for us, along with having other jobs and personal lives (?? )!

For those new this year, last year's summit went off with absolutely NO problems! They did such an amazing job!

For those that have given them grief, back off, everything works out just fine! You will get itineraries, confirmations, and everything you can possibly need for Summit info as they get it and finalize it!

Here's to you Summit Masters!!!! This event is a highlight for alot of us on here and we all have you to thank!

...now my hormones are going to get me all teary....so whatever...back to normal stuff....can you confirm that i am registered????

Re: The Summit Masters

I was going to say the hormones really kicked in for this one.

Very well said, Kat. I do know what they go through, I was in the hotel business, front desk, catering, and restaurant. This is not as easy as it seems. You guys are awesome. Keep up the great work you do for us.

We have already said this in another thread, but the Masters here will not have to buy one single solitary drink in Ouray.

Thanks again

jackie

Well, I plan conferences and events here at my job. The most people that I have had attend are 150. I don't have to deal with the hassles of insurance or anything too technical, but it's still a PITA!

OH, and thanks for bringing that up again! They are NOT to purchase a drink at all - they will be taken care of by ALL of us!

Re: The Summit Masters

Kristin is really getting concerned about my liver...

Thanks for the good words. It's been a rough couple of days. I can always count on Katfish to bring me back!

Its really an honor to make so many people happy. I hope we can live up to the bar we set last year, the Summit was a success because so many people had the right attitude going in.

Don't forget the Trail Teams, those guys are really top notch and a big part of this!

Re: The Summit Masters

Dear "All Mighty '08 Summit Registration Masters",

I shall come from a land far away with an evil and corrupt ruler (Mayor of Detroit!) bearing gifts to the great "Summit Registration Masters"....Ohmmmmm, Ohmmmmm.

Please accept these token's as an expression of our gratitude for all your efforts and all you are doing....Ohmmmmm, Ohmmmm.

Now a great burden is upon me...from which Michigan micro-brewery shall these gifts come from that shall be placed within my "Engel" wooden ice chest on my "FJ" charit...Oh such a great weight to bear and so little time!

(Truly, a sincere thanks for the efforts! It does not go unappreciated or unnoticed!)

Ask and you shall receive...my "Engel wooden ice chest".

It's a tight fit (Engel 43) on the storage unit I built & installed.

The frig on the slide lock extends out about 24" for easy access (after it's unlocked)!
