That is very cool. The Jeepers will be burning over this.

Re: Check out the Ouray County Sheriff's New Rides

Alright just talked to Tony - turns out this is the county's vehicles, not the city (different turf)

I'm going to egg Toyota on again about helping the police dept get some FJ's - it's obviously good publicity for them and our buddy Tony deserves it more than anyone

I take it he's up for the FJ as a Patrol Unit then. Thats great, I hope all goes well.

Wow, that's neat...nice light bar too! You think they'll use a Bandi mount for the antenna?

Re: Check out the Ouray County Sheriff's New Rides

Would be nice if some of the forum vendors threw some parts at them. How sweet would it be for marketing to say your parts are used by the Ouray Sheriffs.

My 1 cent (See my opinion is 50% off)

agreed - though I'd prefer the city of Ouray to see that sort of benefit...

Re: Check out the Ouray County Sheriff's New Rides

They bought the FJ's because the dash compartment makes an excellent doughnut storage area..

Keeps em warm and fresh.
