Seriously, when I was 14 I was the only person I knew who had a clue who Bach, Spyro Gyra, Walter Carlos, and so many other artists/bands were. I overheard a close friend say, "Maureen has the weirdest taste in music." and wasn't in the slightest offended.
This was 1978-79. Before Smooth Jazz stations ever hit the airwaves in Sacramento.
When that whole 'Flashdance' thing took over, I ripped up my J.S. Bach sweatshirt and wore it over my little tank top. Damn, I wish I had that shirt still.

Agree! I would add "I shot the Sheriff" (Live Crossroads version) & "Layla" by Eric Clapton and "Astronomy" (Live Version) by Blue Oyster Cult.
Otherwise its the MP3 player on shuffle. All 1500 songs, starting with Elvis, Ray Charles and Frank Sinatra to Buddy Guy, EC, Kenny Wayne Shepard, all the way up to Live, Silverchair, Puddle of Mud, etc. Don't forget Green Day, Foo Fighters, Hootie and the Blowfish, Lynyrd Skynyrd. I could go on and on. Blues, Rock, Jazz, Metal...you name the genre, I got it. Love music. It's gonna be a great roadtrip to Ouray!
