It's all their fault Tomas. I didn't want to do any of it but I just kept hearing Jack telling me not to be a sissy
Lawrence, that's how you get hooked. My second exposure to wheeling was with Jack - he had me 'just pull up' on Snoopy Rock - 'just see how it feels!' Next thing I know, I am on top of the rock with my legs shaking and heart pounding... Glad you guys had a great time. The photos and videos were awesome. We have such a great group with a combination of experience and newbies and in-between. Great job.

Re: New Mexico FJ'ers

Guys it really wasn't that hard, a twelve year old could do it. Ok, maybe there were a few tricky parts. I had a great time and want to thank everyone for coming. I hope we get to do it again sometime. MT

See guys even a 12 year old can do it....and for the record I never called Lawrence a "sissy", well maybe when I was refering to his tires. Hey Lawrence "got meat".

that's exactly what he says, then it's "you gonna have to bump it a little" and then "floor it!" followed by "Wow! You did that on street tires?"

Seriously though, you missed a great trip. Hopefully you can make it next time.

Re: New Mexico FJ'ers

Jack,
I'm working on it. Just got to get this darn Christmas thing out of the way. I think the first thing I might get is the lower control arm mount skids. They're a little deformed after this weekend.

OK, OK that happens to be the truth, but man it sure was fun to watch. Hey Lawrence if ya watch the video close you can see the back drivers side tire smoke, gotta love it!!!!!! The skids are a good idea, absolutely higher priority than tires.

Yeah, I saw that. I still get pumped watching it. That and when your rig dips a couple of times in your video. I trust Phil but man I don't know how you didn't go over!

Now, now Lawrence you don't think I would let Jack flip his rig do ya? I've been over that many times and though it looks incredible crazy it's really pretty stable. George ran it 2 or 3 times. Next time were getting you up there. It's cool for newbies because it's so wild to watch and drive. It really helps your confidence.
